29 years old, Spud is a 16.2hh, dark bay, Off-The-Track Appendix Quarter Horse. His Registered name is Vallarta Special and his Great Great Grand Sire is the racing legend Easy Jet.

He came to us in the Fall of 2017 and is a favorite of the Level 2+ Dressage students. Spud spent his time prior to Misty River as a racehorse (many years ago) and then jumping and running cross country. He is now living a nice, easy, and spoiled life as one of our beloved lesson horses!
